Transportation in Rio

Hi!

Can you get a minivan at the Rio airport or are there just taxis? How much is the fare to Copacabana beach from the airport and from Copacabana Beach to the port? We will be on an Oceania cruise in Dec. and are trying to decide if we should cab it from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the port or use Oceania's hotel pre-cruise package?

While a cab would probably be fine, for Rio I would use the cruise lines hotel package. And, I realize it will likely cost a little more. This is one of these places where I would rather have the transfers taken care of and coordinated through the cruise line.

Or just arrange for your hotel to send a car to pick you up. It probably won't cost more than what Oceania charges for two people.
