Christmas Day in Cozumel

I'm sure there will be several things open, but not the usual hustle and bustle of Cozumel. The country (generally speaking) is very devout Catholic, and I think unless people are having to work, they probably won't be out much. You're best bet might be to book an excursion, but I would think that there would be taxis running but maybe not as many as usual.

Each time we have cruised over the holidays, Christmas Day has either been a sea day or we were at HAL's private island. I don't think any regular port stop would be very active. I'd be surprised if many tour operators are working or if many stores were open.

Might be a good day to just not get off the ship.......might not be worth it.

I'd even be a little nervous about going to the beach in case we had a hard time getting a taxi to take us back to the ship.
