Hampton Inn Deerfield Beach

For Bequia for anyone else:

Any opinions of the Hampton Inn in Deerfield Beach for a pre-cruise hotel for a group of 30?? I would like to know what is around the hotel in terms of grocery store, restaurant, etc??

Thanks,

Jane

Hotel itself is a nice typical Hampton Inn. However, it is not in an area that is close to restaurants and shopping. You can walk west about a couple miles and hit some strip malls but nothing in the way of restaurants. If you are looking at price, try looking into the Hampton Inn- Cypress Creek in Ft. Lauderdale. It is closer to the port and there is a nice diner and couple other places and closer limited shopping at that Hampton Inn. Also the Hampton Inn in Boca Raton is near shopping and restaurants. Good luck and happy cruising!

There is a large and newish Publix down on Federal Hwy and Hillsboro, a few miles from where I think the hotel is. You are right on the edge of Boca, so not a bad area, even though Deerfield is somewhat non white along most of the housing.

I felt very comfortable living in this area.
