Private Island only cruise??

We are planning to do a 4-6 days cruise next year, early January. Our kids hate the bigger ports (like Nassau, Ochos Rios, etc.) and just want to do water sports and other fun things. Therefore we would like to skip the Ports and were wondering if there is a cruise going just to a Private Island (or something similar quiet but fun)? Any recommendation from someone? Thanks for your help and Best Regards

Well not usually is it JUST the private island. But just go to an online booking site like expedia or travelocity and plug in a request for a "4 day cruise", any cruiseline. It will show you which ship is going where.

What about doing a Carnival cruise that goes to Turks/Caicos and Half Moon Cay? Turks is very small and quiet, and Half Moon Cay is a private Island.

Disney Wonder *may* offer one just to Castaway Cay on the 3 day cruise...but I think they usually try to stop at Nassau

RCCL goes to Coco Cay (RCCL private Island in the Bahamas) on their 3 and 4 day cruises but they also add in Nassau. Some of their longer cruises (7 days) go to Labadee (Haiti), the RCCL private beach area.

What about taking a RCCL cruise to Bermuda on Explorer of the Seas? You can do a 5 day out of New Jersey and just go to Kings Wharf Bermuda. Then you have 3 sea days and you can get on and off the ship at will during the 2 days docked in Bermuda.

We did the Elation cruise with stops at Nassau, Grand Turk, and Half Moon Cay. We stayed on the ship in Nassau, except for a brief walking trip to the straw market and getting DD's hair braided. Grand Turk was like a beach day on a private island with the beach right off the dock and the pool at Margaritaville right there free to use as well. Half Moon Cay is their private island so it was another beach day for us. Our kids love having the beach days at these ports.
