We will be a party of 4 on NOS and was wondering if walkie talkies work on the ship? If so which brand worked the best. We decided that it would be a worthwhile investment to locate our other party and vice versa.

Thanks...

this will be our 23rd cruise, and the world uses walkies on board. it's a great way to keep in touch good luck and have fun

We used them on our cruise on Rhapsody and they worked great. We used Midland Brand, but they all the name brands are good. We used the GRMS because fo the extended range. We were on Deck 2 forward and we could talk to our kids all the way back on Deck 11 in adventure ocean. If children are involved, counsel them as to the proper etiquette and let them know that loud beeps and tones do irritate others, so be considerate. We had no problems and they worked great!

I'll be using them agian on my third cruise. My only advice, so you don't annoy others, use them only during the day. Do not bring them to dinner and never, ever, ever to any of the shows.
