lyttleone1977 Posted September 4, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2007 Looking for a good Park and Fly (or that type) around Ohare. We are coming from MI, coming in on the Tri-State, and want to find something close to the airport that doesnt cost an arm and a leg. Normally fly out of DTW, but couldnt beat the price out of ORD. There will be two cars, not that it matters! Thanks!
kitty9 Posted September 6, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2007 Haven't done this in a while but we used to use Howard Johnson's for their locked and gated parking. They're on Mannheim Road. You don't need to stay there to use their parking lot. Sorry, but I don't know the daily charge. Their shuttle will take you to the airport, which is about 7 minutes away and they will pick you up and bring you back to your car.
pms4104 Posted September 7, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 7, 2007 AviStar is a park and fly operator near O'Hare ... I live locally so I can't recommend nor dis the company, as I've no experience with AviStar. Interestingly, I checked prices, assuming our travel dates in December ... 12 days and 15 hours added up to $135. The most remote lot physically at O'Hare, parking lot F, charges $9/day. I believe there are many hotels near O'Hare that offer parking in conjunction with a stay of at least one night. Suggest you do a Google search for "O'Hare Park and Fly" to display a variety of hotels that might offer that amenity. You may need to call each hotel for specific rate quote. Good luck. live4vacation Posted September 14, 2007 #5 Share Posted September 14, 2007 We have used AviStar in the past with no problems. Check their website, they usually have coupons.
