Rare Jetswdo Posted September 9, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2007 We will be on cruise at this time and planning to do alot of snorkling in: Antigua, Barbados,Saint Lucia, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. My husband does have a wet suit, but would rather not drag it along, if the water is warm enough. We did snorkel in Hawaii in January, and while the water was not the warmest, it was managable without a wetsuit. Is the water temp in carribean similar to Hawaii at that time? I really don't want to have to get a wet suit for myself, if it isn't necessary. Thanks in advance for advise. Anita
crdtrnr Posted September 9, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2007 The weather in January is usually mid 70-mid 80's...water temp is fine... I have snorkeled in Cozumel and Cayman, no problem. In fact, January is when we usually cruise.
