Pearl - Deck 5 and Spa

Hello all,

I'm attempting to plan a little getaway cruise for my parents in January on the Pearl. I will be on the Pearl in October, so I could answer my own questions I guess, but I would like to book everything early...hence why I'm coming here. :)

Can anyone recommend a good cabin on Deck 5 (or one to avoid)? I'm looking at category DD somewhere mid-ship, and I see that Le Bistro is on one side, and something else is on the other directly above on Deck 6. Did anyone staying in this area hear any noise from above?

Also, I'd like to give them a spa gift certificate, but I'm not sure how much to go - 50? 100? What's the general price range for services? Or do you know where I could find a list with prices?

As a "P.S." I was also looking at Carnival Liberty 6 days that stops in Key West, Grand Cayman, and Ocho Rios, but I'm thinking the Pearl might be a better choice - any thoughts to the contrary?

Thanks for your help, as always - much appreciated! :D
