This message is for Serene56...Serene you posted some photos of cabin 6262 on the Miracle which were excellent, did you actually stay in this cabin I am booked in it for November..if you did stay in it was it hot? sooty?, was there a lot of unusual ship noise like shuttering, from the propulsion? was it any rougher..If you have answered these questions before I am sorry to bother you again but the search exhausted itself again..thank you would you book this cabin again..

I did stay in that cabin. (we book cabins based on the number depending on what we are celebating. good thng that most of the numbers are aft cabins. we have sailed on the aft 7 out of 10 times.

The balcony is warm-- I wouldnt describe it as hot. The aft balconies do not get ocean breezes like a side balcony does. Keep the curtains closed in the cabin to keep it cool.

soot? I have yet to experince soot on any cruise. But always to be safe I wipe down the chairs before I sit down.

We did not experience vibration/shuddering on the Miracle or the Legend.

But taht would depend on each sailing and the waters you sail on. Vibrations/shuddering will last only minutes when a ship is pulling into or leaving a port.

Yes, I would book this cabin again in a heart beat.

Does anyone know what the hot tub hours are? Are any of them open at night?

not all hot tubs will stay open but some will close at 8pm and 10pm with one being opened til midnight-- try the aft pool hot tub for the one staying opened the latest.

hey,

Someone on our roll call posted this question, and since I dont know the answer, I came stragiht here. Pardon me if it has been discussed. This thread is soooooo longggggggg that I am just able to spot check it sometimes.

Well, here it goes....

Cabin 5221 shows an open space across from it. Lotsof cabins do. I have never been on a spirit class ship. My cabins are 4229 / 4231. It also has an open space. What is that space...5221's open space,, what is there.

Thanks for answering the question.

The big open area in the middle of the ship is the atrium. The other part of the open area is where the ship's machinery (smoke stack etc) run up through the ship along with the crews working quarters.

we started our vacation the day before the cruise.we stayed at the court yard marriott mid town.we walked all over the city since we have never been down there. we went to tony denapolis for our daughters bday. we had the best dinner and the best service. We were up and out by 11 at the port by 11:20 and on the ship by 12. everything was very smooth and everyone was very helpful.we walked around the ship and had lunch up at horitos.we were one of the first ones on the ship. By 330 we were up on the top deck waiting for the sailaway. which was amazing. the kids were so excited to see the city and to be on their first cruise.i have pictures of the cruise but dont know how to get them on here. so if i figure it out i will put them up. the boat left early and the weather was perfect for sailing. our room stewart who was named pilan was awesome. she had the room spotless and always had the ice filled for my husband who liked to make drinks at night. she was wonderful to us and our children and we felt very special.our dinner servers nadia and daniel were the best of the best. we had seats right next to the window and enjoyed our view everyday. seeing the sunset was something we will never forget it was so romantic. Nadia went out of her way to treat our family special. she had our drinks at the table every night before we arrived for dinner and was amazing with our children. daniel was very quiet but was still very nice.we saw nadia in puerto rico and you would have thought she was our best friend.she came up and talked with us and gave us hugs.our dinners were amazing. i have read a lot of people saying there meat was tough ours was great and we couldn't complain about any of them. after dinner we went to the show and really enjoyed it. i hit the casino and did ok. made some friends during the week at the casino. wish I had gotten their names so i could meet them at the casino in conn. the three older kids hung out and made friends, our youngest was tired so we went to bed around 12.our older son made some really nice friends and we hardly saw him the whole week. the girls hung out together since 1 was turning 17 on the cruise and couldn't get into the clubs that were 18 and older. our youngest met friends and did activities with them. he went to the club for 6-8 year olds a few times but was the oldest in there and he felt that age group was to young for him. but he still had fun with the friends he made. we did a lot of family activities which were a lot of fun.(mostly with 8 year old) WE WON A FEW SHIPS ON A STICK.:D :D :D

i will write more tomm son wants to talk to the kids he met on our awesome cruise:o

My family is going on the Miracle in December, we have rooms 7229 and 7241. Can anyone tell me if these cabins are okay. I looked at the deck plans and see that they are close to the elevators. Is that a problem. Is it noisy at night cause I know that the ship never sleeps with something going on all night long. Any info would be appreciated.

The Verandah Deck is a great location since it is between two cabin decks. It very quiet from above and below. It also 2 short decks up to the Lido Deck, and 4 down to the Promenade Deck.

Your cabins are mid-ship, which is also very nice if sea-sickness is a concern. Cabin 7229 is far enough from the elevators that there will not be a problem. I think the white space aft of this cabin is a crew stairwell. Cabin 7241 is very close to elevators and atrium, but in general the corridors on the Miracle are quiet and you should not hear much in the cabin. The atrium has glass windows, so noise from the lobby will also not be a problem.

my oldest and myself were sea sick on 2-3 day but once we took medicine we felt a lot better. people on cruise were saying to take ginger(?) if i had it I would have taken it. Husband made sure to get drink of day everyday. didn't want to miss glasses to bring home. if you have any kids and plan on doing savenger hunt with them bring a 1927 penny that was the only thing we didnt have.(blue sock, camp carnival daily activities, black shirt, daily activities, green cup,red paper, someone wearing something on back wards, map of ship, how many kids counselors and names-can be found on kids activie sheet, how many life boats,) 2 day was captains cocktail party and first formal night. we saw peopl;e in shorts and sneakers up to tux and very formal gowns our family fit some where in between. They have stations set up on deck 2-3 for pictures. they dont pressure you to buy them but it was nice getting tons of picturex taken. I am not 1 that likes to get picture taken bc of being heavy but this time I was ok with it. we bought a lot of photos (from formal nights to exit shots in each port) husband and I are on diet so he said next time we go we will be thin:rolleyes: we celebrated our middle daughters 17th bday this night .they sang to her and ta sent cake. after each dinner the waiters do alittle show. our waiters had our 17 year old up dancing and our 8 year old up too. every night was something different and kids couldnt wait to see what the waiteres would do. Our rooms were always done by the time we were done with dinner. I asked for the kids to get towel animals every night and pilan did have them done. I also entered the slot tourney. i came in first with 15,600 points. when it came to final play off i got to choose my slot machine first i was afraid to take # 6 again since it was winner in both rounds. i took # 8 for dd bday. I should have taken # 6 it wound up hitting again and the man who won before time won on it again (500). we really enjoyed all the activies on the ship just wish some of the acvtivies that cruise directors set up would be for entire family. Since youngest was with us more than being at club. but it was ok he still had fun cheering us on.

we didnt encounter to many rude people but the few we did encounter need to get alife. they thought everything revolved around them,it was funny to watch them trying their hardest to get their way. whether itwas trying to take chairs by the pool, from someone who was sitting there while others in their party were eating or in bathroom to people who came late to shows and thought it was ok to pile in entire family to seats that people were already sitting in. but you will encounter these kinds of people anywheres:eek: well have to go have dinner will write about san juan later:D

Susan- you might want to prepare the girlfriend now. On the ship will have an open disco for kids ages 15-17.

When the disco opens for adults only over 18-- there is a big chance she will get carded- Sometimes they dont.

There will be other things they can do besides the club.
