Attaching Door Decorations?

What is recommended for attaching door decorations? Is double stick tape okay?

I usually glue small magnets to my door decor and they attach very well.

Or use the magnetic paper when you print things off. That really works great. If you aren't sure magnets will work, take along some of that clay type sticky stuff. Not sure what it's called but teachers use it and it doesn't leave a mess. Just don't put anything on your door that you will be sad if it walks off because lots of times it does.

Heavy ones use a over door hanger

 

Light one use the putty that you would stick something up on the wall with. Does not damage the doors finish or hurt the paint...

I'd use Blu-Tac. That way you can re-use the decorations for scrapbooking or in your photo album, without marking or tearing them :D

I have found that this works the best. Magnets don't often stay on the cabin doors and the over the door hangers often won't let the door close. Soem of the hooks can take the paint/finish off of the door. Blu tac works well without leaving any marks.

I most always have some door decoration but generally don’t bother with tape (especially as I pack light). If I can’t get tape from the purser’s desk, we’ve used the ends of band-aids.
