hobse Posted September 23, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 23, 2007 Anyone with experience in cabins 834/836 or 736/738 on Voyager? We prefer mid-ship which these are, but are wondering if it is a nuisance to have the stairs across from 834 and 736 (at least it looks that way on the ship diagram). Or any negatives about these cabins? Thank you.
Travelcat2 Posted September 23, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 23, 2007 Although we have not been in those specific suites, the location(s) seem to be good ones. Aside from the infamous "vibration" aft, the only potentially problem suites are those on deck 10 (below the swimming pool that can get noisy during the day). :)
dougburns Posted September 23, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 23, 2007 Lynn and I did two legs of the 2005 WC in 835. Great stateroom! Anything back to the aft elevators should be very stable. The last two cruises we've been in 824 and 825 because we like to be near the Atrium.
DebbieH103 Posted September 23, 2007 #4 Share Posted September 23, 2007 Any thoughts on 708? I am going with a group and did not have a choice.
dougburns Posted September 23, 2007 #5 Share Posted September 23, 2007 Lynn and I were in 1007 for a Transatlantic crossing in '04. No problems and it was a great stateroom, so deck 7 forward should be just fine.
DebbieH103 Posted September 23, 2007 #6 Share Posted September 23, 2007 Thanks. That is what I am hoping.
larry1365 Posted September 23, 2007 #7 Share Posted September 23, 2007 We were in 810 for the 2007 World Cruise and really liked the less-traveled, quiet corridor forward of the forward elevators. Your are close to the stairs and the forward elevators (4) are much more convenient than the ones in the aft (2) which run separately from each other. freddiebud Posted September 24, 2007 #8 Share Posted September 24, 2007 We were in 844 for a Baltic Cruise 2006. (Relatives in 842 and 846) They did not have any issues, but we thought it was very vibratey and I had ALOT of problems sleeping. There were cotton balls and paper stuffed into lots of crevices and we stuffed even more. Aside from that, FANTASTIC cabin.
AtA Posted September 24, 2007 #9 Share Posted September 24, 2007 I believe we were in 736 when we were last on. It's fine. I believe the stairway is for the staff only.
