Which formal night is dressier?

On a seven-night itinerary (Mexico) on a more traditional line (HAL), which of the two formal nights feels dressier?

We've always found the 2nd formal night to be the more formal... the dining room linens are wonderful - it seems everyone makes an effort on the 2nd formal night. :)

Ya know its funny but I have noticed that the same dark suit I wear on both formal nights "feels" dressier on the second formal night. So you may have something there *LOL*

:) :) :)

Well - I had a super funny post... when I hit "Submit Reply" - I got an error message saying I had too many smilies??? Are those the things off to the right side? They must be kidding???? I had one... :(

Hi to All....

Just back from the Z (western carib), thought 1st night was more formal, 2nd night had less Tuxes being worn. Saw guys show up with just shirt and tie the first night and second night just the shirt. HAL needs to enforce their rules more :(...Dennis
