kubri32 Posted September 24, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 24, 2007 Not overly important, but does anyone have a TV channel listing for RCCL ships? Just trying to figure out which shows I need to record at home vs what limited programming will be available on the boat. Thanks
karena1 Posted September 24, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 24, 2007 You wont' get much of anything on the ship. I set my DVR for anything and everything I want to see when I get home. I don't usually watch much if any TV on the ship, but I know DH can never find much. What I really miss is ESPN when I am working out in the morning. Never have been able to understand why they only get ESPN in Spanish and not English!!

At sea you are subject to International broadcasting and don't expect to see any local boardcast.
cb at sea Posted September 24, 2007 #4 Share Posted September 24, 2007 Exactly! Aside from some old, pre-recorded sit-coms and movies, there's not alot to see on TV!
moandbo Posted September 25, 2007 #5 Share Posted September 25, 2007 They don't show special events like sports playoffs?? We're sailing the second week in Oct, and DH would sure like to see some of the baseball playoffs.
wrp96 Posted September 25, 2007 #6 Share Posted September 25, 2007 Sometimes they will show sporting events in the public areas, like the sports bar, but it depends on the ship.

I don't sail Carnival anymore, but when I did, Carnival had all the local channels. I cruised in Sept. with them, and was able to watch all my season premiers.
