Snorkeling in Ocho Rios

How is the snorkeling in Ocho Rios. I've seen posts that from a beach it isn't worth it but does anyone know from a boat?:confused:

I've yet to see anyone say snorkeling or diving was great anywhere near Ocho .... I've been diving there several times but they were usually business trips and I was desperate for something to kill time. I'd never schedule a dive trip there.
