Hotels in Buenos Aires

Would appreciate any recommendations on well-located hotels in Buenos Aires.

Recoleta is a good area to be for sightseeing. It all depends on your price range. If you want to splurge the Alvear Palace or Park Hyatt Palacio Duhao are great. But there are smaller boutique hotels as well like the Melia or Loi Suites.

We are planning to stay at the Claridge in March. It is centrally located and $139/night for a double on the one website I have checked so far.

We stayed at the Claridge in March pre-cruise and loved it. They have a wonderful breakfast buffet. They even stored our luggage when we took an overnight in Iguazu Falls.

We enjoyed being able to walk on Florida Street. Great shopping.

Glad to hear you liked the Claridge Hotel. I just booked it for our pre-cruise stay in late March.

We will be staying at the Marriott when we are there in January 2008. We picked it for its location, price and it includes breakfast.

Greetings! We will be sailing out of Buenos Aires on December 9 and will probably stay at the Claridge. For those that have stayed there, how did you get to the port?
