I would like to get to Seward after getting off the ship in Whittier, AK. What tour company would transport us. After a night there, I would like to spend a night in Achorage before we fly home. If not Seward just 1 night in Achorage and a night up to Talkeetna. Which city would you pick?

There is also the option to rent a car from Avis in Whittier and drive yourself there and back to Anchorage. You could easily be out the 9am tunnel and in Seward by 11:30am. It makes the best use of time and may not be any more costly, adding up the shuttle and train.

 

For me, I would definately give the prioriy to Seward. You can have most of 2 days there, and then just take the train to Anchorage. Leaves 6pm daily.
