erin1998 Posted October 22, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2007 Good morning, :D Can anyone tell me if the balcony dividers open up on the Liberty. We will be sailing on our first Royal cruise and we have side by side balcony cabins on the hump. :) Since we don't have connecting rooms, can our balcony divider open up so we can share our balconies? Thanks Erin
bubbadog Posted October 22, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 22, 2007 yes there is a door that the room steward can have unlocked so you can go back and forth to balconies:)

cb at sea Posted October 22, 2007 #4 Share Posted October 22, 2007 If you open the divider, you won't have privacy in your room from the balcony--your neighbors will be able to see into your cabin! There goes the whole point of the balcony: dressing, lounging, etc.... with the drapes open and the view of the ocean!
wrp96 Posted October 22, 2007 #5 Share Posted October 22, 2007 Don't know about the Liberty, but on the Brilliance they did not on the 9th deck....hope that helps.... They specifically built the Freedom and Liberty with dividers that could be opened up safely. On other RCCL ships they rarely open up the dividers, but with the Freedom class somebody seemed to put some thought into the dividers they used. Spurs Fans Posted October 22, 2007 #11 Share Posted October 22, 2007 They do open on the Mariner. We had our divider opened on our cruise in July. With two Owner's Suites we had a balcony that was close to 60 feet long.
Chriz Posted October 22, 2007 #12 Share Posted October 22, 2007 They were "able" to be opened on the Mariner, but we were not allowed per our steward, pursers desk, and Capt Johnny (per the purser).
