My cruise roomie used the spa and used it lol. Her bill at the end of the week on the CB was over $3,200. I think she is still paying it off.

The best deals are on port days where you can combine 2 or 3 treatments. They have someone you can buy for all week where you can use the stream room and rainshower or whatever they call those places, one is a hot slab you lay on she bought the week to do that.

There is a hot stone massage and you can get areas massages or a couples massage. I think the hot stone massage was one that you can get 25 minutes of and combine with something else like a foot massage for a special price on port day.

I dont remember a good all over massage.

I've been on 3 Grand class Princess ships including Caribbean Princess. There are usually several different types of massage available from relaxation (relatively light) to deep tissue to specialty (e.g., aromatherapy or hot rocks). Like any other spa, sometimes you get a better masseuse (sp?) and sometimes one that's just okay. Generally I have enjoyed the spa services EXCEPT for the hard sell they tend to give you in order to get you to purchase their products.

If this bothers you, make it clear at the beginning that you are not interested in buying any products. That generally short circuits the sales pitch at the end.

As the PP said, you can look for better deals on days when the ship is in port or if you combine services.
