Fire on COSTA MAGICA ??

Last sunday-evening, while sitting on the balcony of my hotel in Estoril/Cascais-Portugal :D, we saw Costa MAGICA sailing out of LISBON on her way to Gibraltar.

What surprises us was that it seems there was something like a fire :eek: behind the funnel, on the place where the sports court is.

Even with my binoculars (12 times) I could not see very good what it was, but it looks like flames.

As there was/is not any message about it, it would not be a real fire at all, I think.

So....does anyone know/heard what we have seen ??:confused:

Here are the Top 10 possibilities for the "weird occurance behind the funnel:

 

10) The Magica was late and the Captain engaged the "Turbo Boost"

9) Some rednecks decided to for a traditional BBQ instead of the formal dinner

8) The hot tub was to cold and somebody build a campfire to warm it up

7) Sombody played a "hot" round of tennis

6) It wasn't a fire, just a swarm of fire flies

5) The staff decided to put some steaks on the boiler in the engine room and caused a grease fire in the funnel

4) Did somebody bring more fire wood?

3) An UFO dropped off some aliens as there was a traffic jam on the milky way

2) It's time for a new pair of binoculars

1) Don't worry about it - just have another one of those "yummy" drinks!

There has been NO report of any fire on the Magica either in the popular press or speiclaised shipping press. Also Costa has not cancelled any sailings.

 

What you saw was probably a honeymoon couple having their first bust up! :eek:;)

It must have been one of those North African Fire-spitters, you see often in these area's. :cool: And now he/she was giving a show around the sportscourt.

The men from Casablanca, Agadir, Algiers or Tunis.:p
