RT Barcelona in Nov board Century

We plan to go to Barcelona RT boarding Century in Nov. Have anyone have experience on this cruise? How is the weather in Nov? How cold is it? This will be our first cruise. I want to visit Europe. I open for anything if you think the other cruise destination in Europe will be better please let me know.

 

We are from California, so we not used to the cold weather. Look like the price cheaper in Nov compare to Sept and Oct. Is that because of the weather?

 

How is the ship? I choose celebrity because it is a little bit upscale compare to Royal Caribbean, Princess or Carnival. I didn't want to be disappointed. But since I never been in the cruise before. I have no idea what I should expect.

 

Any suggestion would be nice.

Weather is always difficult to tell about...

Last year November was warmer then usual.

In general expect some chilly/cloudy and maybe rainy days, but also some nice sunny days.

We're also doing Europe in Nov. Venice to Barcelona on Summit. Taking the weather in stride & hoping for no crowds and a great time!:D

What part of CA are you from? If you're from SoCal, I would say just a smidge colder than you would expect to find here with a bit more of a chance for rain. At least that's what we found when we were there in September/October.

Does anyone have any tips for getting the best price on a Celebrity Cruise? I will be departing Barcelona next October.

 

In response to weather - I'm not sure where you are going but Italy CAN be drizzly and cooler in November from my experience.

You should keep checking back on celebrity website. I notice some price drop when it get closer to the departure date. For example for Nov 2007 now the RT Barcelona only $699.00 compare to $899.00 in Nov 2008. As long as you call and let celebrity know when you notice the price drop they will adjust the price for you and give you a refund.
