we are on the May 11-18 Mariner and was looking at flight times from Orlando. how much time would you allow from Port Canaveral to Orlando? the ship gets in at 7am and I am looking at a 12:45 flight from Orlando. would we have enough time. Never flown out of Orlando but it must be a busy airport plus the travel time from Port Canaveral has me a little worried. plus I am lookign at air-trans, never flown w/ them - any recommendations?

thanks

I'd give myself about an 1 hour to drive to and from Airport to Port (unless you drive like a bat out of hell could do it in 45 minutes.) MCO recommends you arrive 1 1/2 hours before flight to allow enough time to get through security. Hope that helps.

You should be fine with a 12:45 flight. It is about a 45 minute drive from Port Canaveral to MCO. It really all depends if the ship is delayed for some reason getting into port. We were on the Mariner in June and were off the ship and checked in at the airport by 9:30. That being said, we are on the Mariner again next June and are booking a late afternoon flight just in case. :)
