chrisbd1 Posted November 3, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2007 I think the prices on some of the liquiors are the same but domestic beer is now $4.54 a bottle. Can anyone give me a recent price on the beer helmuts?
honeydog714 Posted November 3, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2007 I know that the wine list prices went up, we just ordered some for our upcoming cruise and the bottles were several dollars more than reflected on the list.

chrisbd1 Posted November 3, 2007 Author #6 Share Posted November 3, 2007 Domestic beers are $4.75 plus 15% gratuity at the bar, $4.54 as part of bar set-up. I'm trying to decide if it would be cheaper to get helmuts of beer. Surely someone remembers what the current price is?

salty dingo Posted November 4, 2007 #20 Share Posted November 4, 2007 do you get to keep the helmet? No, it is just an ice bucket and they keep it.
casidy_123 Posted November 4, 2007 #21 Share Posted November 4, 2007 just off pearl yesterday, helmets are $22.71 total including the gratuity for domestic beers, So you get 6 beers for 22.71$ Thats a prety good deal In my opinion. Does anyone know if thats available on POH, and can you tell me what the beer brands are included ?
chrisbd1 Posted November 4, 2007 Author #22 Share Posted November 4, 2007 do you get to keep the helmet? Im not sure why I would want to... but interested in knowing. Yes, qualified. In theory, you are supposed to pay a $5.00 deposit for the bucket (helmet). Some people have reported not having to pay the $5.00 or maybe they have a few helmets too many and don't remember  . Regardless, it will either cost you $5.00 or it won't. You can take someone elses helmet, people sometimes leave them running loose. Then it would cost them $5.00 and you nothing.
LA_FadeAway Posted November 4, 2007 #23 Share Posted November 4, 2007 Be sure to return the helmut the last night of the cruise if you want your $5 credited back. We went to the bar right before debarking and they said that we would have to stand in the line at the purser's desk, since it was too late for them to do it. Of course, I wasn't going to stand in that long line for $5. After a little convincing on my part, the bartender was able to find someone who could take care of it. lyssa13 Posted November 7, 2007 #24 Share Posted November 7, 2007 Anyone remember what sorts of days the 1/2 price specials were offered? Was is it on port days or sea days? Thanks! ;)
flamingos Posted November 7, 2007 #25 Share Posted November 7, 2007 No, it is just an ice bucket and they keep it. If they keep it, why do they charge you for it?
