Cruisetours Question????

Has anyone taken the 16E cruisetour with Princess connecting with a southbound cruise. I was wondering if the "guided tour with some meals included is worth the extra money. We are booked on the "Heart of Alaska" cruisetour. 16 E is basicly the same with 2 nights in Anchorage. some meals and a guide. What does an average dinner cost in The Lodges in Dinali and Mt McKinley cost? Any help would be appriciated.

the summer of 2003 we spent about $12 pp for dinner at Mt.McKinley Lodge, but ate in the bar/lounge area, not the dining room as, with a party of 6, we couldn't get in there before 9 - 10 PM.

 

Denali, we were only in one night, ate at Lynx Pizzeria, it was about $10 pp.

For meals budget 50% than you would at home to allow for a cushion.
