wulicny Posted September 8, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 8, 2004 We will be traveling with my Mother-in-Law in November on the QM2. We want to give her some money to play around with on the cruise. Do you recommend going with shipboard credit, or with a pre-paid Amex or Visa that she can use to secure her shipboard purchases. Thank in advance, Bill
kitty9 Posted September 8, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 8, 2004 The shipboard credit is easier for her to use.
reklawr Posted September 9, 2004 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2004 Bill, Darcie is right. It will be much more convenient for your MIL to use a shipboard credit than a pre-paid credit card of any kind. Roy

Krazy Kruizers Posted September 9, 2004 #5 Share Posted September 9, 2004 Why not arrange some shipboard credit for her AND also give her some traveler's checks for on shore purchases?
