Itinerary change on Summit holiday cruise?

There is another thread on this board that talks about the reason for the change. It has to do with ships who have a foreign registry needing to stop for more than just an hour in a foreign country if they've only been in ports in the US.

Have a great cruise even though your itinerary has changed.

Does anyone know why the December 21 Summit cruise has decreased our port days by one of the two on Oahu? We're sure going to be at sea a lot. I hope they have some great activities for us.

The reduction from 2 to 1 port days in Honolulu was already made approximately 6 months ago. (I wouldn't call a 2 AM departure a second port day...). I don't know the reason.

The new reduction by 4 hours from a 2 am departure to a 10 pm departure was made last week. In return, the stop in Ensenada was switched from a 1 hour technical stop to a 5 hour stop with disembarkation.
