We are going to cruise on The Navigator of the Seas Mar 14, 2009. I've been a little worried about what shape the ship will be in because it will be just over 6 years old and I have some 1st time cruisers in our group and I want the ship to be just awesome for them! I've never cruised on a ship this old, but after seeing your pictures I feel so relieved.

Can you tell me if they still change the days of the week in the elevators?

6 yrs. is 'old'?

 

Your first time cruisers are going to be impressed, even if the ship is 16 yrs. old.

 

Ships are expensive.

They receive daily maintenance and upkeep.

They simply cost too much to let them get all tatty.

 

A 6 yr. old ship has only just begun its useful life,

and only now has all the bugs worked out!

 

It's not a car made in Detroit, you know...:cool:

 

 

 

Here's a ship that forty years old

Doesn't have a rock-climbing wall, or any bells and whistles "features"

but still in very good shape ;)
