Florida_cruisers Posted September 9, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2004 On our last cruise our travel agent upgraded us for free and I know this is a common practice if the boat is not filled up, if they need the cabin you are in, etc... Do they do this on European cruise ports as well? I tempted to ask my agent, but I am not sure if this is acceptable for the type of cruise we booked. Thanks,
kripsy Posted September 9, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2004 No, I think they sell them to the local for cheap fares.
truffles2 Posted September 9, 2004 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2004 We were upgraded on a European cruise once. Don't be too sure it was your TA--he may just be taking credit. I am pretty sure ours was from RCI.
