Glaciers Posted December 27, 2007 #3 Share Posted December 27, 2007 We just returned from the Wind Spirit and I missed getting a picture of the deck barbeque. It was one of the highlights and the grilled lobster was fantastic. Your photos are very nice. I have some of the Wind Spirit and crew at: http://travel.webshots.com/album/561867069PEOsHH
Lair Bear Posted January 5, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted January 5, 2008 Chilcoot your pictures of the Wind Spirit are also great. I recoqnized some of the crew members. We were on the Wind Spirit when it made its transition through the Panama Canal a couple years ago. Thanks for sharing. How is the weather up in Alaska this time of the year? A bit chilly compared with the Caribbean, I bet.
Glaciers Posted January 10, 2008 #5 Share Posted January 10, 2008 It’s been snowing most of the day today and is about 18 degrees currently. Retirement is 4 years away and I can’t wait to begin wintering someplace other than Alaska. It will always be our summer home, however. We are actually looking at another Windstar cruise as we enjoyed it so much. Going through the Panama Canal on Windstar is very appealing. I’ve been back into your site several times just to see the lobsters on the grill! Good memories.
