MMoore1851 Posted September 9, 2004 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2004 When RCCL provides transportation from Port Canaveral to FLL or Miamiand vice versa, do several buses run continuously? I was just wondering if it would be more convenient and time efficient to take a taxi to FLL and pick up a rental car in order to go ahead and get back on the road after disembarking. Does anyone have any experience with this?
cmjaffe Posted September 9, 2004 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2004 I wonder what the gas situation is on the roads down there before I'd rent a car. Carolyn
springtxbill Posted September 10, 2004 #3 Share Posted September 10, 2004 To FLL from Port Everglades, they would probably run several buses making multiple trips due to the short distance. To Miami from Port Everglades they probably do not make multiple runs due to the distance, but wait and pick up oncoming passengers. If uou are coming into Miami and looking at getting a car in FLL, get a car at the port in Miami and skip the taxi, etc. I hope this was your question. :)

Pumbaamd Posted September 10, 2004 #5 Share Posted September 10, 2004 What about their shuttle from FLL to Miami pier? We should have our bags from our flight and be ready to board a bus by 11 a.m. Has anyone used this service?
swysong77 Posted September 11, 2004 #6 Share Posted September 11, 2004 I was on the Mariner last week and took a bus from Miami to Port Canaveral at the end of the cruise. They had so many buses waiting for us and all went smoothly. :)
