I don't really understand the theme. I get the patriotism/Americana idea. I just don't know how some of the decidedly UN-American elements (Ivanhoe Show Lounge, Winston's cigar bar, Shogun Club Casino, Paris Hot Jazz Club, Iliad Library...) fit the bill...

There is a certain American feel to the decor overall, and the icons featured within many of the public rooms represent the best of what America is all about," said Farcus.

I have an 8 year old and this will be his first cruise....how were the kids programs???
