Sapphire Princess

Went to New Zealand and Australia in April, 2007. Staff were extremely rude. Waitress in dining room stood at our table and cried. She told us she was assigned to too many tables and was not able to keep up with them. One of our table mates asked her to remove a glass of wine that had a bug in it. She put her finger in the glass and said she could not find anything. She placed the glass back in front of the man. Later she brought an anniversary cake to our table and licked the icing from the side of the cake before placing it on the table.

 

One of the staff from the shore tours stood at the top of a staircase and screamed at my husband a very vulgar list of obscenities.

 

We sent a letter to Princess about the problems we had and to date 12/07 we have never received a reply. Never again will we be cruising with Princess.

 

Just returned from the Western Caribbean with Royal Caribbean. Staff were friendly and professional. Will continue to book with RCL in the future.

Sorry for your bad experience. Too bad also, that you are judging the whole cruise line on two of their employees. I would also hope you reported the incidents to their superiors so corrective action could be taken.

 

Glad we did not have them on our Feb Aussie / NZ trip.

How can you take this seriously. Obviously this is BS. There is no way that any of that could happen.
