pasavant Posted January 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2008 I will be sailing on back to back 14 day Holland america cruise leaving Vancouver on June 8, 2008. I have booked a day long boat tour of Tracey Arm from Juneau and a 6 hour Kenai Fjords boat tour from Seward. I want to see as much variety as possible on our trip. Are these tours too similar? If so, which one would you reccomend . Or should we do both? thanks.
GMoney Posted January 2, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2008 You should keep both, as both places have their own unique qualities. Even if there are similar aspects, you won't mind seeing them again. :) Plus you never know what the weather will be like and how it might impact your tour. Some level of redundancy is good. qiangf2 Posted January 2, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 2, 2008 I agree. You should keep both as they are quite different from my experience.
Budget Queen Posted January 3, 2008 #4 Share Posted January 3, 2008 Definately do both. There is far more wildlife out of Kenai Fjords, and you may even want to consider the superior Northwestern Fjords trip, or getting to Exit Glacier etc etc.
