Weather in Vancouver in Sept

I will betaking a cruise in Sept with stops in Vancouver, Victoria & SF. I want to make sure that I pack correctly. Do you know what the average temperature is that time of year? Should I expect rain? I sure hope not!

The mean, or average temperature for Vancouver in September is 14 C., or about 58 F. It is still very pleasant that time of year, and sometimes we have an "Indian" summer with very high temperatures. September can be one of the nicest months of the year on the west coast. It might rain, but you have no control over that so please try not to worry. Just bring layers which you can slip on or off, and bring your umbrella just in case (a small fold-up one for you purse/carry-on would be perfect).
