Liberty stinkey????

Have a chance to go on Liberty for a family wedding in NOV.... WOOHOO!! Just the excuse I was looking for. Plus my 8 yr old would only miss 3 days of school- which greatly reduces my guilt. BUT I remember early this summer one of the Freedom class of ships had some stinkage issues- exhaust or something. Was it Liberty and have they been resolved? Any info and insight always great.:)

All ships get some odor problems at some time or other! Usually, it's a sewage odor---must be something unique to shipboard drains or something! I wouldn't let it dissuade me from a cruise!

As for the Freedom, I was on her in October, and there was no such stinky smell.

Don't let that stop you from a fabulous cruise vacation!! Once onboard people tend to forget they are on a ship. Ships have holding tanks and at some point there will be an odor. We bring little hanging air fresheners for the cabin and the bathroom! Same thing happens with motorhomes and personal boats. Just enjoy!!!

Not stinky in November! Your 8 year old will love it... mine did!

I was on her just before Christmas. I only noticed an odor once or twice, but nothing on going or in my cabin!

only smell you will find on the liberty is the great smell of great food

this ship is fantastic so much so we have booked again for may 08

We were on the 12/1 sailing on the Liberty. Yes, the smell was still there, mostly by the Adventure Ocean (real bad), some stairwells, and as the cruise went on, our bathroom started to smell
