Miami to Ft. Lauderdale

We are thinking of cruising on The Ruby in Nov. 08. Flights may be less $$ if we fly into Miami. Can anyone recommend private shuttles or transportation to Fort Lauderdale port.

Thanks!

You might consider renting a one way car from Hertz/Alamo etc. It is only 22 miles (all interstate) and there is no drop fee and they will shuttle you to the port. :)

Princess charges $15 pp for their transfer to Miami airport.

I would agree - if you are coming into Miami, I would purchase the Princess transfer. If flying into FLL, then a taxi is definately the way to go - it's cheaper and quicker! We were held up at the Miami airport due to lost luggage and we were able to catch the last cruise line bus, which was waiting for a large group of delayed cruisers. I felt much safer knowing the ship wasn't leaving knowing that a whole bus of people was on its way.
