Laptop Question

Ok- I'm not real savy with computers and my husband would like to use his laptop in the cabin. Is there wireless internet available in the cabins on the Jewel and how much does it cost?

Wireless access is located mainly in public areas on the ship. Wireless is not available in all cabins ( I believe, but can't confirm that wireless may be available in the higher level cabins such as the villas and suites)

However I think there may be an wired hookup in the cabins. Just take a cable. Same charges apply, though.

On the Jewel in an AC, we had no wireless access, but there was an ethernet connection in the room. Not sure if the cable was already there or we asked for it from Internet Cafe. Service is painfully slow though.

I always take the cable. It is only 3 oz and takes no room. You just never know. The wireless connection will vary throughout the ship.

 

Remember that the connection to the internet will be closer to dial up speeds, and when you are paying $.50 to $.75 per minute, it gets painful.
