Warnemunde to Lubeck

We are considering not going into Berlin from Warnemunde. We are thinking of taking the train to Rostock. Would Lubeck perhaps be a better choice? Is there train service to Lubeck? Wouuld both Lubeck and Rostock be doable in one day? Thank you for any help you may be able to offer.

I think Lubbeck would be a much better choice. You actually have to go to Rostock to transfer to the train for Lubbeck. When we were there last they had a special price for the train to Lubbeck. There is much more of interest in Lubbeck I would say. When we returned to Rostock after Lubbeck we wallked around the town . There are lots of trains between Rostock and Warnemunde. I think we learned you can ride the bus from the station in Rostock to the old town for free if you have a train ticket. You can confirm this. It is actually not a bad walk either.

We were there last Aug, and my wife went to Berlin and loved it. I stayed in Warnemunde and had a lovely day. A nice little town and a very big beach. I did not want to spend all that time on a bus. Plenty to do just staying in town. Have a great trip. :)
