Carib210 Posted January 13, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2008 We will be taking a cruise on HAl's Noordam on 1/26 and was wondering if the cabins (SS category) have refrigerators. We have been on over 16 cruises, but this will be our 1st on HAL. The other cruise lines all have mini-refrigs, but HAL's site is confusing to me, mentioning only certain cabions have refrigs. Any help would be appreciated. BTW, had no idea re: the norovirus presently on the ship. Do antibiotics help at all, or does this sickness just need to run its course? Not too happy about this. Thanks again.
RuthC Posted January 13, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2008 Every cabin on every Vista ship, and the Prinsendam, have a fridge. On the S- and R-class ships every veranda, and higher category, have a fridge. Antibiotics will do no good against noro as it's a virus; antibiotics are only good against bacteria. Noro is everywhere. The ship is under code red to keep it under control; it will be supersanitized upon return to NYC.

We are having a Meet and Greet in the Crows Nest first sea day (Sunday) at 10:30 am.
