princessdivaapril Posted January 14, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2008 Since Carnival owns Princess, do I get to use past cruiser discount with Princess since I have cruised Carnival? Also how about interchange between RC and Celebrity? Im gonna' book for the Ruby and wondered about this and my DH is interested in the Celebrity Solstice for later on. Toto2Kansas Posted January 14, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2008 You should get a past passenger discount on Princess if you have sailed Carnival. But I have to tell you, you can usually even beat the past passenger discount option with a good discount TA. Best of luck on finding that great price. paul929207 Posted January 14, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2008 You can get the past cruiser discount with Princess if you have sailed with Carnival. However, as Toto says, you can usually do better. You do not get any of the other repeat benefits such as an invitation to the Captain's Circle party on the lines you have not actually sailed previously. jpg1747 Posted January 14, 2008 #4 Share Posted January 14, 2008 I didn't get any credits with Carnival for my past Princess cruises. However, I did get a free picture coupon and a plate of chocolate covered strawberries delivered to my cabin the first night. Both were a nice surprise. DrivesLikeMario Posted January 14, 2008 #5 Share Posted January 14, 2008 You asked about RCI & Celebrity exchange privileges for past guests: With RCI, once you have completed 5 cruises with them, you receive the equivalent Celebrity Captain's Club member level. So, if you've completed 5 cruises with RCI, you're automatically at the same level with Celebrity! ;)
