We have booked this Fort Lauderdale hotel for March Break at a decent rate ~ does anyone have unbiased reviews to share? Would like to know how close last minute shopping would be as well. Thank you all in advance!

If this is the facility on Stirling in Hollywood, I suggest you search this site and also visit TripAdvisor. Some of the threads may be old (like 6-9 months ago) but they may shed some valuable light on your choice of lodging.

If you aren't paying an arm and a leg to stay in Ft. Lauderdale during Easter break, I can guarantee you are in a dump.

 

FWIW, Ramadas, Days Inns, and a few of the Comfort Inns in South Florida are quite sketchy.

We are staying there one night pre cruise the end of February.

It appears that it is next to the Oakwood Shopping Center, which seems quite large. You should be able to find anything you need.
