land touring activities

Talkeetna: i am trying to decide between the Mckinley summit flight or the flight with a glacier landing. i would use the toursaver with either. the glacier landing would have to be on the 7pm departure. wouldn't that be too late in late Aug?

Whittier:4 hour 2 glacier cruise or 6 hour wilderness explorer cruise. both with Prince William Sound Glacier Cruise Co. either would work as i'm departing on the cruise the same night. is there enough difference between the two to justify the added expense?

7pm is not too late for a daylight flight. I have done both, but you need to decide which is of more interest for you. My preference are the summit flights, but riding in a ski plane is a thrill too. :)

Look for Chenega posts, he has a very descriptive input on the differences in PWS tours. Again, only my opinion, longer is better. :)
