Formal Nights on Statendam - Alaska

We are signing up for the 7 day Statendam Inside Passage, Alaska in June. I have the 2008 Alaska brochure, and nowhere can I find any info of how many formal nights there are. I know there are usually 2 on a 7 day cruise. Does anyone know if that is true for this cruise?

On the Statendam to Alaska July, 2007 we had two formal nights.

We had 2 on the Volendam last August. Be aware that Alaska is more casual in general. I don't remember more than 10 men wearing tuxes and the women tended to be less formal than you would see on other cruises. However, I did hear the comment made more than once of the first formal night - we do clean up pretty good! That speaks more to how informally people dress in Alaska.

On all our Alaskan cruises - Ryndam - Statendam -- always have had 2 formal nights.

Thanks for the quick replies. I thought it would be 2 but wanted to make sure. In a way, I hate thinking of what to wear, but when I'm finally dressed and ready to go I feel pretty good!:)

Yes, two formal nights. it's true that Alaskan cruises are a bit more casual, however, there were about 30% or more of men in tuxedos on our Alaskan crusies on the Statendam and Ryndam.
