Edocs vs. The booklet

Does anyone know if the Edocs is the only way to get your docs now, or do they still send you a booklet. We cruised in Nov, I received a booklet and my neighbor didnt, but she had printed her info from on line. I honestly didnt like the luggage tags you have to cut, fold, put them together and secure to your bags (she stapled them, but they didnt hold well). They are not user friendly or as durable as the ones they normally send with the booklet.

Currently you still have a choice.

I was told that if you want them to send you regular docs...Do NOT click on "View Cruise Documents" on the Carnival website or else it will automatically think you want edocs.

When you get your doc's they will not have the normal tags you are used to, they will be attached to the pages in your doc's and are very much like the e-doc tags, instructions are to staple them on your bag.

You neighbor probably clicked on e-docs when she went to print them so she will not get paper.

I clicked on it, so I guess I am stuck with them. Curiosity....LOL...one way for them to trick us into it I guess, they dont give you any advance notice about that. Another thing I dont like is all the paper waste thats printed out, which is all unessary and they are not compact like the booklet was. O well, thanks for the answers!

I am dealing with an older computer and dial up internet. I was having trouble accessing my e-docs online so I called Carnival. They told me if I had completed all the other info online, all you need is your citizenship info/ID and your funpass. I was worried about not getting them mailed to me and me getting "screwed" if I didnt have the ones I was supposed to print. She also told me the other documents is just for your info.

I am quite relieved now. Counting down the days now :D
