Snowmobiling in Alaska

Has anyone ever done any snowmobiling in Alaska? I didn't see this offered as an excursion by Celebrity, but has anyone ever done it and booked their own trip? Our friend wants to do this very badly, and this will make or break his decision whether to go with us or not. Thanks for your feedback.

Thanks for your responses. We're going on the Inside Passage so it looks like he won't be able to do the snowmobiling. Thanks again and I'll pass on the info.
