aft cc Cabins & Loungers on Connie

Can somebody please let me know if you still get loungers on the balconies for the CC aft cabins. In particular we booked #9162 as we like to spend our days at sea on our balcony just watch the waves pass us by.

 

Many threads now say that loungers are no longer allowed. Is this all cabins? I hope not :eek:

We had 9162 in Nov. & yes they do have 2 loungers. We will try to book that room again. We just loved it. You can hear the guitarist in the evening but otherwise the room was quiet.

We were in 7212 in Nov., an aft balcony CC cabin. We had 2 loungers, 2 reg. chairs, 2 sm. side tables and a large dining table.........fabulous:D

Were they the nice adjustable loungers (with pads) or those ones where the leg part is sort of curved and stationary? (don't like those).

We had that room in Febr. and March; and, they had the loungers.

Padded chairs but stationary positions.

You can always ask your cabin steward to bring you either more chairs or additional loungers. We always have an Aft cabin, and they are more than happy to accomodate your needs.

Karyanne, that's the whole point of this thread...if we did not like what was on the balcony, we would say "switch out these loungers for the other kind" - apparently now they are saying "no, can't do it".

Our experience with Celebrity service is that you rarely, if ever hear the words "no" and "can't" provided your request is reasonable. On one of our Summit Hawaii cruises (March of last year, I think) we asked our steward to replace the fixed position loungers on our balcony with the adjustable variety. We had adjustable loungers within an hour.

Since there is no added cost to Celebrity to provide the type of lounger requested by aft cabin occupants, I would be very surprised if this were a problem. We will be in 8185 on the 2/29 Connie cruise; I will certainly report back if we have any issues obtaining the balcony furniture that we prefer.

Thanks, please let us know. I am sailing on her in April and am hoping that they will let us have the chairs on the balcony. Thanks and have a great trip.
