Bargain evening dress

Round about Christmas time I saw a lovely evening dress, in petite size that would be great for our Constellation Baltic cruise in May.

 

Unfortunately, the price was too much for me £180. Was shopping with my sister in law today and found said dress - in my size reduced to £20.

 

Must have been my lucky day.

No, it was in Nantwich at Country Casuals (normally out of my price range), it must have been my lucky day.

That is great! that has happened to me a couple of times-I would see something and feel I could not afford it and I would watch for it to go on clearance-usually though just because I really wanted it -it was long gone before mark down time.

 

I loved the Connie and I hope to cruise her again. She is a beautiful ship! I wish I was crusing with you! have fun!

I know Europe is very expensive to visit right now.

 

I was basically wanting to know what her original 180 pounds for the dress

= in the US dollar.

 

I will look it up on a currency site.

 

180 pounds = $356.00 right now.

I am leaving 2/7 on the holiday for cozumel. I have been trying to find a formal for very CHEAP!!!!! We went to a local pageant store and found that they had last years styles on clearance. My dress is made by Tiffany and was reduced from $390 to $49. My husband and I have 4 kids so I feel blessed to have such an awsome find!!!!:D

Here are some pics of the dress I paid $49 for. I have seen several posts for Ross 's. If there are any of those stores around you and you've not been definately go. They have lots of clearance dresses for under $10.

I've done all of my pre-cruise shopping, but we're going to the Mall of America this week - I may have to check a few clearance racks and make a little more space in my luggage :)
