chong67 Posted February 1, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2008 This is my very first trip on a cruise. I have never been on a cruise. I am looking at the Carnival Freedom out of Miami on March 08. For Category 1A, it say it has 'one upper and one lower twin bed'. Is it a bunker bed? I cannot convert those bed into a king-sized bed? I know Cat 1A is the lowest of the low. Does that mean the room is next to some noisy places or dirty places?
serene56 Posted February 2, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2008 There are two awesome cat 1A 2446-2445 located on the aft of the ship These cabins have two beds on the floor and two windows with lots of floor space- the rest of the 1A will have only an upper bed/lower bed OR a upper bed and a sofa bed. anaslile Posted February 3, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 3, 2008 Cat 1As depend on the Carnival ship. I'm not sure if the Freedom has bunk bed 1As or double bed 1As. I know on the Spirit class they're double beds. You might want to ask on this thread. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=686534&highlight=freedom+questions
