St. Peter Port on Sunday

Lots of the shops will be closed in (not on - it's the way the locals say it) Guernsey on a Sunday. However, there will be places where you can have a lovely cream tea.

I would recommend a visit to Castle Cornet which is a short walk away from where the tenders land. You will be able to see it on the left hand side as you look at St. Peter Port. There are lots of interesting things to see, including a museum.

For other museums/opening hours have a look at allaboutguernsey.com.

Have a great time!

oldjerseycruiser,

Thanks so much for the reply. We will only be in port for about 5 hours, so having the castle so close will be good. I'm an avid knitter and was hoping to be able to buy some of the wonderful yarn. Will be content with a lovely tea. Again, thanks so much. Pat
