Cruzman Posted February 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2008 Unfortunately, board rules disallow any discussion of specific travel agencies. There are some good ones however, that advertise on this board.
ehfl Posted February 15, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 15, 2008 Just book through your cruise line's web site. That way, you avoid the agravation and finger-pointing that often happens when you use a middleman. Just read all the travel agent nightmare stories here on the forums. The most you can get from a TA is some kind of on board credit, but you can get those anyway through all the loyalty programs the cruise lines have. cathi Posted February 15, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 15, 2008 A good TA can help first time cruisers cut through the forest and be an invaluable tool to use in planning your cruise. You just have to find a TA that will work with you. It's hard to yell at the computer when something goes wrong!
cherylandtk Posted February 15, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2008 And some cruiselines allow TA's to discount--on those you can almost always get a better price from a TA than the cruiseline.
