Distance SJU Airport to Cruise Terminal & hotel recommendations?

We fly into SJU around 10:00pm one night pre-cruise.

 

What is the approximate distance from the airport to the cruise terminal?

 

Are there hotels near the airport, or should we look for one near the cruise terminal?

 

We don't need to go to a resort as we'll only be there overnight before sailing.

It's approximately 8 - 10 miles from the airport to the piers. The OSJ pier is further West than the Pan American Pier.

 

Are there hotels near the airport, or should we look for one near the cruise terminal?

 

Yes there are a variety of hotels near the airport as well as one at the airport. Since you are getting in late, it may make more sense to stay close to the airport. Check out this google map for a view of the hotels close to the airport.
